Bio

Alice Levine, a versatile cellist, educator, and songwriter based in Watchung, NJ. With degrees from Manhattan School of Music and Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, Alice integrates methodologies to cater to individual needs. She’s performed at Aspen and Tanglewood, coached chamber music at LIU Post, and collaborated with Grammy-nominated composer Danny Rivera. Alice’s teaching spans IU Pre-College, Stuyvesant High School, and the Music Institute of Long Island, shaping young musicians across genres from classical to jazz and folk.

Teaching Info

I teach using a combination of various methods including: Kodaly, Orff, Suzuki, Zweig, and Traditional.

I am a member of the American String Teachers Association(ASTA)

I am currently enjoying blogging about articles  and videos that are interesting and relevant to my teaching.
